“It is out of the question to go back to those assemblies,” Imran said while addressing the media on Saturday.
“We would have only returned to those assemblies had the judicial commission declared there was no rigging in the general elections,” he said.
Responding to a question about the resignations from the assemblies, Imran said their resignations should be accepted [as it happened in Sindh].
“No PTI member would go to these assemblies, and in case someone tries to do that, he will no longer remain in PTI,” he added.
The PTI chief said he would only participate from the province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), where his party is in power and claims that the 2013 general elections were free and fair.
“We will participate in the Senate elections only from K-P, as elections in the province are not disputed,” Imran said while addressing the media.
Imran Khan reiterated on Saturday that former chief justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Chaudhry and Justice (retd) Khalilur Rehman Ramday were complicit in the alleged rigging of the 2013 general elections, and that he would prove their involvement.
"I will prove his (Iftikhar Chaudhry) involvement in rigging," Imran said, while addressing the media upon his arrival from Saudi Arabia.
The PTI chief spoke of the role of the returning officers (ROs) in the election process, stating that they stuffed voting bags with bogus votes on the orders of the former CJP.
"I will make Iftikhar Chaudhry stand in court, and I will tell this country what a big crime he committed to this country's democracy," a fiery Imran said.
Speaking about the defamation notice sent to him by the former CJP for Rs20 billion, the PTI chief quipped, "I'll take the money from his son, Arsalan Iftikhar, who seems to have made quite a lot."
"I am waiting to see the former CJP in court, because of the traitorous acts he has undertaken in demolishing the democracy of this country. He was behind the actions of the ROs," he said. "Do not worry Iftikhar sahib, I am ready to face you in court."
The PTI chief also said that as soon as a judicial commission is formed with absolute power, "I predict that this will be an election year."
He further questioned why the government was hesitant over the results of the tribunal. "Because they know they did not win fairly," Imran stated.

@Real Truth:
No wonder our country is what it is with brain dead zombies like you. Or is this just a Machiavellian lie just to support your horse at all costs? I suspect both!
@Real Truth: Answer one question bro. IK is demanding vote audit. Ayaz was running to courts to get stay orders to prevent vote audit. Now if Ayaz is innocent, why did he need to get stay orders? If he is innocent, he should have said go ahead, I have nothing to hide.
@bahaha: You better keep an eye on your brother as well, or he will also be sitting next to your nephew.
Whats the point if you run for elections and sit in the street like my spoilt nephew?
@salman: Sir, all you have to do is read the complete article, and you will find answer to your question right there. For example, it says "The commission had said that it found 519 discrepancies from the both sides: the record of PTI chief Iman Khan showed that 275 counterfoils of his votes were without thumb impressions, while 232 counterfoils found in the record of National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq were without thumb impressions." Does it need make it clear that more irregularities were found on IK's side, than those on Ayaz Sadiq's side? How does IK and his disciples interpret this as rigging having been carried out by PML(N)???
To my pakistani brothers. Its shame on all those who have not come out to support Imran Khan. The guy is fighting their case with the incompetent corrupt government. Why don't they understand.? Their eyes should have been wide opened by now. Government corruption and malfunctioning has been well exposed and still the people can not tell the difference between a good leader and a politician. Imran khan is a leader not a politician because leaders stand firm and steadfast and politicians are hypocrit and changingig sides and only think of their own benefits. No politician is tslking about creating jobs or reducing poverty or making the life easy of the people. From the day one they have been talking about changing the laws or amending the laws. How is this benefiting the people. ? This government has waisted people's time and given nothing to the people. No gas No electric no clean water just keep giving lip service. They need to be dragged out of the parliament.
We will not return to the assembly rather we'll compete for the Senate now. This is called 'progress'.
Resignation in NA, Punjab and Sindh but will continue government and parliament seats in KPK.Will not contest senate elections in all assemblies but will do in KPK.Khan Sb need a basic montessori course in politics.
@Rambo: Well, I'm sure the pti trolls will defend IK better then the pmln supporters defended pmln on the petrol crisis?
Where were all you pmln supporters this past week? Don't tell me....standing in line for petrol praising nawaz sharif ? :)
@Real Truth: So what do you call 23000 unverified votes and multiple other irregularities in na122? Business as usual?
No wonder pmln kept running to courts for stay orders. They wanted these irregularities hidden, but truth is coming out.
To all PTI trolls, get ready to defend another u turn ahead:)
@Rafeeque:
Really? Seems to me you either jesting or have a short memory. On the Taliban front he promised that negotiations would solve everything .... wrong. He also promised that once the American's departed Afghanistan the Taliban would drop their weapons and join Islamabad ... wrong again. He promised to head the polio campaign in KP - that lasted about two days. His record in managing KP is abysmal - probably because he spends all his time focusing/complaining about issues that aren't under his control. IK has devolved into a typical politician - lots of rhetoric with no substance.
It appears and he is proving it with every passing man that this man is less substance and more noise. In a democracy, which he is trying to change, he does not want to take part in the Assemblies or Parliament but wants to do it in an extra-jurisdictional way. He is also very unsportsmanlike. His visit to Saudi Arabia was just a publicity to change his persona as a Playboy of England. He is all about him and second comes the country and citizens.
IK is a classic case of Empty Vessels Make Most Noise! No proof, no evidence, but lots of accusations, foul talk and hollow BRAVADO! Umrah appears to have done nothing to his basic manners; in fact, judging from meticulous photography and distribution of his Umrah pics, it looks more and more like a mere PR stunt! That said, I am confident that like in the past, as soon as the intoxication wears out, we all will witness another of IK's infamous U-Turns!
@Ch. Allah Daad: You certainly are a wise person among the fools, always staying dry on soft grounds.
Rex Minor
It should have been the duty of Nawaz Sharif to clear his name on rigging, as pti being number 2 party of Pakistan cannot be just ignored. Nawaz sharif should justify his election else he will have no moral ground to rule.
@Ch. Allah Daad: Its better then attacking the courts like pmln did in the past!
@Blithe: Yes, nawaz Sharif retuned last night :)
This guy certainly knows what a democracy is? Not the soup of Sharifs made up from the civil and military actors. Every one of them will sooner or later face the judiciary abd explain their oath!!
Rex Minor
@Akhthar: In all constituencies that have been scrutinized, there has been evidence of irregularities, rigging, maladministration or whatever you want to term it. PPP and other parties also second IK's claim.
Aitzaz Ahsan is from PPP, which has a tacit agreement with the government, but even he has presented evidence of rigging. Also, irregularities dont happen on their own, unless ROs have incentive to do so.
As far as KPK and bringing Taliban terrorists to justice are concerned, the work is going on, both by the military and civilian administration.
In any case, I hope you enjoy the current government and its performance. Have fun.
Loser of the nth degree is back from KSA
I tend to trust what Javed Hashmi kept saying that most PTI parliamentarians will not resign. They will all join assemblies. If they were serious they would have abandoned the perks and vacated the parliamentary lodges. Please excuse if I am sounding bitter. Truth is always bitter.
Challenging judges and lawyers to take them to courts is a very stupid thing to do. Who would challenge a test cricketer to play a cricket match..?.Only a fool...
Iftikhar Chaudhry definitely had a shady role in the last elections. In violation of the constitution, he blatantly changed the dates of the presidential election merely on the personal request of a party member of PMLN without hearing the other candidates. There is no doubt he did similar things in the general election.
I support Imran Khan against Iftikhar Ch and second all the allegations made against Iftikhar Ch.
@Akhthar: Well 23000+ unverifiable votes found in na122 certainly gives some credence to the allegations!
I think IK is on to something here.
What Imran says initially sounds like alot of huff and puff, but we have seen, again and again, repeatedly that his version turns out to be the truth :)
He is back in form making allegations. The whole world & god is also behind his defeat in the election. He doesn't care about his KP nor bring justice to the families of those children who were killed by terrorists.
