Pakistan has urged the United States to use its influence for making India behave as a responsible state in order to bring stability and peace in the region.
This issue was raised during the recent visit of US Secretary of State John Kerry, where he held in-depth discussions with Pakistani political and military leadership.
“Latest developments in the region particularly the ongoing operation against terrorism and the rising tension with India came under discussion,” sources privy to the meetings held with Kerry told this correspondent on the condition of anonymity.
“Kerry was asked that President Obama should take up Pakistan’s concerns related to India during his forthcoming visit to India,” sources said, adding that “Kerry was urged that President Obama should put pressure on Indian leadership for resumption of dialogue process with Pakistan in order to resolve all outstanding issues, including Kashmir”.
The US secretary of state was apprised that Pakistan is deeply engaged in curbing the menace of terrorism and its forces are busy on the Western border, in such crucial times any disturbance on the Eastern border is disturbing this war against terrorism — which as of now remains the global concern. “India must be told to remain in its limits.”
The sources maintained that Kerry was communicated that “India is pursuing policy of aggression against Pakistan without any reason and intends to divert attention of Pakistani forces from the ongoing war against terrorism.”
Kerry was also asked that President Obama should convince the Indian leadership to talk on Kashmir issue as well, since lasting peace in the region can only be guaranteed with the resolution of the core issue of Kashmir, which has been lingering on due to cold Indian response.
Pakistan urged John Kerry to persuade India to take initiative for resuming dialogue process for resolution of all outstanding issues with Pakistan. He was informed that it was always Pakistan which took the initiative to resume the dialogue process but India adopted a cold attitude. “The last effort for resumption of the dialogue process was also initiated by Pakistan, but India disrupted it without any reason,” the sources concluded.

Tame India to behave as a responsible state ...........
Inresponce India will not tame America to behave as a responsible state because India as a responsible state knows about the US interests in the region and she is taking steps accordingly . We are being compelled to support US with a closed eye his war against terrorism and we are openly doing that without any hesitation as a responsible state . That's why Obama is ''FIDA'' on Modi . U should understand the twist .

Like I said, the fairer skin is more due to our geographic positioning and possibly due to all the invaders from other places who inhabited these lands and made us fairer skin. @Singh: I can never fathom this obsession with skin complexion. There are good looking and intelligent people in all races. But on the whole I would say there might be more caucasion looking people in Pakistan than India due to our geographic positioning more than anything else but that fact does not make us any superior or inferior to our friends across the border. I'm just saddened when I see this constant hate between Indians and Pakistanis residing in India and Pakistan and those interacting on youtube or online newspapers. The same Indians, Pakistanis and other SAARC citizens residing in the Gulf, US, UK or any other 'desi' diaspora country will be the best of friends due to our shared culture and heritage. I really wish we can somehow sort out our differences and move forward but given the crazy direction of the world and invention of new 'Islamic terrorists' such as ISIS funded by Saudi Arabian Wahhabies and the New World Order, we're all in for a rough ride. @pakiindi: Pakistan knows India is not interested to talk on Kashmir. Actually it is India which behind the scene wants to talk on asking for transit passage to Central Asia so instead of asking directly, it influences the US which starts putting pressure on Pakistan. Pakistan has therefore plainly told US that India needs to resolve Kashmir first then get a passage to Central asia. I hope this makes things clear.
India is mature enough to take decision on its own. We don't require any advice from outsiders on how to manage the Internal affairs.Kashmir will always remain an Integral part of India. If Paksitanis brothers want Kashmir then let them join back to the mainland and all will be part of Akhand Bharth. Within few months the US president goes to India for her national day celebration as a Cheif guest to repair the overtly strained relationship ( I doubt that ) established during MM Singh.
Prior to visiting PAK, Sec. Kerry was in India and as is the custom he stopped by in PAK.
Mr. Aziz bit the ear of sec. Kerry during his short stay and told PAK story he was told to covey and asked Sec.Kerry to ignore whatever he discussed with India regarding the situation. Kerry also met with the army chief and expressed the US commitment to PAK and sympathies.
Here is the question: What did Sec. Kerry decide and convey to his boss after his briefing with the US mission in PAK and in India and his counter parts in India.
a) Dear Mr. President, believe PAK and tame India when you are in there on the LoC matter b) Dear Mr. President, believe India and Ignore PAK on LoC matter.
PAK PM should fire his national security team,is my conclusion.
