PESHAWAR:
Haji Sultan Mohammad was appointed new vice president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry at an event held here chaired by Senator Haji Ghulam Ali. Speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Ali said the business community of the province is facing numerous challenges, particularly the deterioration of trade and industry. “Law and order mismanagement and power outages have crippled the economy of the province.” He demanded that the province and federal government announce an incentive package for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa to revive sick units and reduce unemployment. He was of the view that generating employment will play a vital role in controlling militancy, violence and extremism.
