"I am grateful to the Board of Governors for trust and confidence in me especially since I have personally worked hard to revive the idea and project of PSL, but I do not wish to get involved in financial matters and contracts", said Sethi according to PCB press release.
Sethi is currently a member of the Board of Governors of the PCB and honorary chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board, which functions as an advisory and non-decision-making body.
He is scheduled to take over as President of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in July 2015, in an honorary post.
