Disappearance: Produce ‘missing’ MUET student, says SHC

HYDERABAD: The Sindh High Court Hyderabad circuit bench on Tuesday ordered Jamshoro district police to produce missing Mehran University of Engineering and Technology student Kamlesh Kumar by February 10. Kumar was allegedly detained over suspicion of his connections with banned outfit Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz. The petitioner had claimed that the police had picked Kumar up from the Sindh University Housing Society in November, 2014. However, Jamshoro SSP Naeem Shaikh informed the bench that the police had no record of Kumar’s detention.
