Since the team management is keen to get Hafeez cleared in time for the World Cup, which starts on February 14, the board is trying to acquire a date in the first week of the next month.
Hafeez will be appearing at the ICC-accredited lab in Brisbane, which has been put on stand-by in order to deal with bowlers who may be reported during the mega event.
Pakistan’s plans have been badly hit by bowling suspensions of spinners Hafeez and Saeed Ajmal.
