ISLAMABAD: Information and Broadcasting Minister Senator Pervaiz Rashid called upon Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday to end its boycott of parliament and participate in the upcoming Senate elections. Talking to the media outside the Parliament House here, he said the decision of PTI chief Imran Khan to pay his utility bills was a positive step and he should not confine his political struggle out of parliament. Both the government and the PTI leadership, he said, had political insight and vision, and would soon reach an agreement on the formation of a judicial commission. About petrol shortage issue, he said investigations were under way and those found responsible would be held accountable. Steps were being taken to overcome the weaknesses of the present system of oil import and supply, he added.
