Aps attack: PIMS set up medical board for victim

ISLAMABAD: A medical board has been constituted at the capitals’ largest public hospital to treat one of the victims of the Army Public School attack in Peshawar the directions of the Prime Minister. Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences spokesperson Dr Ayesha Ishani informed The Express Tribune that a three-member board will mull treatment options for Ahmed Nawaz, 14, who suffered serious injuries during the terrorist attack. She said Professor of Surgery Dr Rakhshanda Rasheed will head the board, which also includes and other two members includes Plastic Surgery Associate Professor Dr Hammeduddin and Associate Professor of Medicine Professor Rizwan Qazi. Dr Ishani said that Nawaz need plastic surgery having wounds infection. She said the hospital administration will be able to confirm whether or not the patient will be coming to Pims on Wednesday (today).
