Sabotage: Gas pipeline blown up in Dera Bugti

QUETTA: Militants blew up an eight-inch diameter gas pipeline in Bugti tribal area in the wee hours of Tuesday. According to Levies, militants planted explosives along the pipeline laid by the OGDCL in Loti area, damaging it and causing suspension of supply from well no 9 to the purification plant. Levies personnel reached the site of the incident and cordoned off the area. Repair work on the damaged pipeline was underway till filing of this report.
