Holding accountable: Warrants issued for three policemen

HYDERABAD: A court on Monday issued arrest warrants for three policemen for failing to produce alleged members of a Lyari-based gang, Abdul Ghani and Zubair alias Tension, before the court. The court issued the warrants against Crime Investigation Department sub-inspector Shaukat Hayat and police constables Nadeem Ahmed and Abdul Qayum Malik, and ordered the police to produce these policemen on February 3. The suspects were arrested last year and shifted from Karachi to Hyderabad. Their cases were also shifted to the court in Hyderabad.
