LAHORE: A petition was filed in the Lahore High Court on Monday, seeking a judicial inquiry into the ongoing petrol crisis. Advocate Safdar Shaheen Pirzada filed the petition, stating that the government had created an artificial shortage of petrol. He said that the shortage could cause anarchy. He said that a judicial inquiry should be ordered to fix responsibility for the crisis. He requested the court to immediately suspend the petroleum minister and the secretary for criminal negligence.
