Security Measures: No pillion riding till Thursday
Inspector Atiq Shaikh confirmed that a ban had been imposed on pillion riding to ensure polio campaign is successful
KARACHI:
The provincial government has imposed a three-day ban on pillion riding in the city following an attack on a policeman on duty with a polio vaccination team in Orangi Town on Monday morning. According to a notification issued by the Sindh home department, the ban will be effective from today (Tuesday) till Thursday, January 22. Karachi police spokesperson Inspector Atiq Shaikh, confirmed that a ban had been imposed on pillion riding to ensure that the polio campaign was successful.
