Rooting Out Corruption: Public health office raided

The team confiscated records dating from 2011

SUKKUR: An anti-corruption team from Ghotki raided a public health office in Mirpur Mathelo on Monday, seizing records about development works. Himmat Ali Chandio, the Ghotki anti-corruption deputy director, and Mirpur Mathelo judicial magistrate Samiullah Qureshi conducted the raid on a tip-off. Two clerks were present in the office at the time of the raid, but they managed to escape. The team confiscated records dating from 2011. Talking to the media, Chandio said that they received a tip-off about corruption involving Rs250 million in development initiatives since 2011.
