Vandalism: Express News vehicle damaged

PESHAWAR: A vehicle of Express News was damaged when unknown miscreants opened fire at it Saturday night. The car was parked outside Express Media Group’s main office in Bilal Town area of the city. “The bullets smashed through rear screen of the car and then hit the driver’s side door,” said a security guard Fazal Hussain. “Due to noise of generator, no one could hear the fire shots,” he said, adding that police were informed as soon as the damage was noticed. Talking to The Express Tribune, DSP Sajjad Khan said Hashtnagri police reached the site soon after the attack. “There was no casualty in the attack but the assailant managed to escape unnoticed,” he added.
