He said this while talking to Argentinean Ambassador Rodolfo J Martin-Saravia. Afridi said that 800 CNG buses are being introduced which would help provide improved and environment-friendly transportation facilities.
He added that the government is committed to adopting clean energy in transportation and a number of measures are being taken to encourage all sections of the society to make the environment clean.
Praising the cooperation of Argentina in different areas, Afridi said that cooperation would be further expanded between the two countries. He mentioned recent advancements in various segments relating to improving environment and vowed to make efforts to achieve ‘green growth’.
Martin-Saravia assured the minister that Argentina would extend assistance in efforts to make the environment clean.
