Security Concern: Police Public School to remain closed

Our Correspondent January 17, 2015

PESHAWAR: Police Public School will temporarily remain closed over unsatisfactory security arrangements. Speaking to journalists on Saturday, SSP Operation Mian Saeed said the school will reopen once the school administration introduces adequate security arrangements to protect students. Meanwhile, the district administration is also planning to close all private partnership schools in the city over inadequate security arrangements. These schools operate from government school buildings across the province after 3pm. According to the district administration, private partnership schools have struggled to complete security requirements. Moreover, government schools have decided not to take responsibility for any untoward incident which takes place on their premises in the late afternoon. The district administration has planned to suspend these afternoon classes until security arrangements are improved.
