The Technical Education and Vocational Authority (Tevta) will soon establish a model training institute in Lahore for garments sector, Tevta chairperson Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said on Friday.
He told Tevta officers the institute would be set up with the technical assistance of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TiKA).
It would offer courses related to garments manufacturing under the guidance of Turkish experts.
Sheikh said a Turkish delegation had recently visited the Tevta Secretariat to discuss the scope of the proposed institute.
