Fayyaz Alam | 14 years ago | Reply Simply amazing! Nurturing such talent is very important. The reason I advocate a strong Pakistan film industry is for cultural reason. Film is an area which helps promote almost all genres of art. A vibrant film industry helps these cultural activities: Music, Dance, photography, Technology (visual effects etc), Acting, Voice overs, Make up, fashion, story telling. If the government (or channels like express) starts sponsoring low budge films (not slow paced telefilms - Cinema audience needs to be glued to their seats with stories like Slumdog Millionair & fast tempo) then they can contribute a lot to the culture. Just imagine 5 main channels making just one film in a year for 5 years!!! Need I mention more?
