Peshawar school attack: ISPR honours victims in melodic tribute

Video shows children returning to school, motivated to not allow terrorism to deter them

As students return to school after the deadly attack on Peshawar's Army Public School, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a touching musical tribute to honour the lives of the 132 children lost on December 16.

A total of 141 people, including staff members, were killed, when a team of gunmen stormed the army-run school and systematically went from room to room, shooting children during an eight-hour killing spree.

The video used a child's voice for the song, which is nothing short of emotional and touching.

In an attempt to convey a message to the extremists from the children, the main verse of the song holds a powerful message:

Main aisi qoum se hoon jis kay woh bachon se darta hai … Bara dushman bana phirta hai jo bachon se larta hai

The three and a half minute long video shows children returning to school, motivated to not allow terrorism to deter them from continuing with their studies.

The school principal welcomes them back to school in the same auditorium which was once filled with blood.

ISPR's video shows courage and bravery of children who are still suffering in the aftermath of the tragedy.

So powerful and strong way to express the dreadful act. I was just praying to world peace today and saw this song. I could not stop my tears, when this attack happened and still not able to forget. http://itsevalicious.com/school-kids-killed-by-taliban-rip-humanity
