The fast bowler reportedly slipped and fell during practice at the national cricket camp. The reports, however, could not be independently verified by The Express Tribune.
The World Cup 2015 is due to kickoff in New Zealand and Australia on February 14.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had announced the 15-man World Cup squad on January 7, with Misbah-ul Haq leading the national side for the first time in the World Cup.
The team kit for the tournament was unveiled just a day ago, in a gala ceremony. The new kit has a light green color, and the crescent and star of the previous World Cup kit (2011) has been removed and straight horizontal lines can be seen on the front.
It has a PCB logo on the left upper side while the ICC cricket World Cup 2015 logo is placed on the right upper side.

@salman: we have a physics expert in the team as well?
Umer Gul should be next man in as he's the most experienced campaigner in our pace battery..
umar gul is better option in replacement of junaid khan, we donot have any experience fast bowler who can bowl in the death overs, umar gul has the capacity to bowl in the death overs. Good Luck Pakistan.
Rahat Ali can be a potential replacement. He is also a left armer and bowled very well recently against Australia and NZ in tests on slow dusty UAE wickets.
This report is not based on facts.
Is it a news for Pakistan world cup 2015 kit or is it for the Junaid Khan Injury?
Misleading and misinformed news. He will be in action again in 2 days time as per the team physicist.
Blessing in disguise! Get that chap Imran Khan in from Pakistan-Australia series.
Going to Australia with zero pace attack. This is going to be a nightmare.

Seriously? I could have covered this news in a much better way!
Big blow for Pakistan. Hopeful he gets fit before the WC!
