The premier is currently on a two-day private visit of Saudi Arabia to inquire about the health of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.
Further, he expressed concern over the health of the ailing king and prayed for his early recovery.

The Saudis themselves are building a 600-mile long wall to protect themselves from ISIL. The King doesn't have time to help you now, Mr. Sharif. Might as well say bye-bye to your properties in the care of the Arabs, and start focussing on the unfortunate people who voted for you.
This man needs to stop licking boots of the Saudis just because they saved his life once. He is a premier of a country now. It's like rubbing salt on the wounds of Pakistanis who have been on the receiving end of the wahabi sponsored terrorism Saudi Arabia proudly flaunts.
Selling off foreign commercial interests should be a prerequisite for anyone ascendign to the PM-ship of Pakistan. Our leaders seem to be more interested in saving their assets abroad than leading the nation in these trying times. Why is he there at this time? Making sure the gardens in his Saudi palace are properly watered?

Our poor PM did not have enough credit in his phone to make call and ask about the health of the King. He had to go there in person.
Pakistan has deep regards for Saudi Arabia as well great king Abdullah and respectful Saudi Nation this great saudi nation always been helping Pakistan in hard times they always stand beside Pakistan Long live Saudi Arabia Long live this great Saudi Nation We Pakistani duaa for the health of king Abdullah and royal family
@javed: how long will you like to defend a mockery source
Get well soon, Saudi King Abdullah "the custodian of Two Holy Mosques in KSA"
Shared faith and values. But not faith in human values.
@Ranjha:
Buddy, you along with your leader have been dreaming since 14th August, 2014. Continue with your slumber and 2018 would be right around the corner and you'd be dreaming the same.
Seriously? Such kind of obedience has never been demonstrated by any head of a country. And here we have Pakistan burning, and Nawaz Sharif goes to comfort the king of the very country that is responsible for most of the current ills of Pakistan. Is he expecting a share in the will of the dying king?
He recently travelled to Bahrain since the welfare of its ruler was also on his mind. Such a nice PM you've got - always worrying about his benefactors.
@pakiindi: " Was his telephone not working?" +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Pls understand that such visits are perfect cover for attending to personal business while at Tax Payer's money.
People of Pakistan wish the Saudi King that he should get well soon and return to normal office work.
That shows their HIGH LEVEL OF DEPENDENCY, Pakistan was never INDEPENDENT.
Remind me the last time the Saudi King visited Pakistan to visit an ailing leader? Can we please get out of this master-slave set-up?
Dear PM! Please bring some oil on the way back! We are running out of our oil inventories at the moment!!!
"third high level contact in a year"....no surprise. i think NS would love to see his real ideals every week, but alas.......incidents like peshawar APS incidents don't allow that. Anyways, have fun NS and when you return don't forget to visit APS and IDPs.
Every time I read something along the lines of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia being friends it reminds me of the movie D - Dhanday mein dost hi dushman hota hay!
On taxpayers money?
Making arrangements for expected move to Jeddah again!
This confirms when Prince Waleed said, Nawaz Sharif is their man in Pakistan - the very reason why Pakistanis need to find their man for them.
Sounds like a cruel joke! Saudi is hardly a brotherly country considering it supports and funds LeJ, TTP and scores of other vicious salafi-inspired thugs wreaking havoc on pakistanis across the land in a bid to take over the state.
Perhaps Nawaz can first ask the Saudi King to stop the saudi establishment from funding proxy militant groups intent on killing our people. Chit chat can come later!
What about ailing awam? Who will think about their welfare? I guess he has gone there with a BIG KASHKOOL!
Mr Sharif we have defended you against all the allegation of your opponents. Please do not make a mockery of your supporters.
Now that Raheel is doing most of Nawaz's work.....Nawaz has lots of spare time to attend to his own business.
In the picture the king has 2 glasses of water for himself. There is no water for the PM.
Sort of tells you who the boss is?
There is nothing close in culture, language, and ethos which our nation has in common with Saudi Arabia. Leaving religion aside, Saudi does not even fare in our travel plans and neither do we host Saudis here in Pakistan. I am not sure as to why our maligned leadership looks towards Saudi for inspiration. What inspiration are you seeking from there? Apart from your own kickbacks, the nation as a whole has only suffered with a monarchy whose claim to fame is the oil riches.
The Arab royalty is nothing but lazy people who sit on their posterior and earn from the natural resources abundantly gifted to them from God. Our PM know's when the best time for personal gain and perhaps this was the best time to show sympathy and get some pocket money from the 'Big Daddy'.
There is nothing wrong with making a courtesy call on the President of the Bank which finances Pakistan, but the Prime Minister of a militarised country should also take the time and visit other militarised countries in the middle east as well to share his military courts project with them.

@Karachi:
His job as PM is to make policies and maintain a strict oversight on them so that another APS does not occur again. As far as greetings are concerned, in this volatile environment such gestures would be considered nothing but a cheap PR exercise - the result of which was witnessed yesterday.
On public money or his private?
Please return back our tax money, we don't want you to go their physically and waste our money. You could have telephoned him.
Nope.
Was his telephone not working?
Great move for Sharif family- Saud Family relations and hence Pak Saudi relations. May the families remain strong and united, and their subjects secure and peaceful.
Great and positive move by Mr. Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, going to Saudi Arabia and asking about the King's health. The relationship between the Sharif family and the Al Saud family is essential for the preservation of Pakistan through financial support from Saudi Arabia. Get Well Soon, Saudi King.
I am not a PTI troll. But Imran khan is far better than Nawaz who was there at APS yesterday to boost student's morale while Nawaz is going to waste our tax money to inquire about King's health. Sad state of affairs!
Maybe he went to beg for some oil?
Nawaz: Ever heard of a phone ??
Maybe he can also ask them to stop spreading their wahabi doctrine?
this guy should get a phone.
Couldnt find the time to greet the kids at APS. Shameful.
Can we please distance ourselves from Saudi Arabia and start acting like an Asian country.
