ISLAMABAD:

The former foreign minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri will soon be releasing his book titled “Neither a Hawk Nor a Dove” for the readers in Pakistan and India, said a statement issued on Wednesday.

In his book Kasuri has given a revelatory account of Pakistan’s foreign policy in the Musharraf era and the country’s relations with its neighbours during that time, the statement added.

Being the foreign minister of Pakistan from 2002-2007, Kasuri was a witness and a key player in Pakistan’s relationship with world powers and its neighbouring countries: Iran, Afghanistan, China and, more importantly, India.

In the upcoming book, Kasuri has given details about the peace deal that India and Pakistan were about to sign, just before the Mumbai attacks in India. Kasuri has also shared details about the attitude of army towards the peace process with India, said the statement.
