ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid said on Wednesday that if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan does not shun politics of sabotage and anarchy, slogans of ‘Go Imran, Go’ will be raised in every nook and corner of the country.

Talking to the media outside the Parliament House, the minister said this slogan was raised by none other than the aggrieved parents of the martyred students of Peshawar school, while the fake slogan which Imran had propagated has now evaporated into the air. He said at a time when the government is fighting terrorists, Imran is fighting the government.

The minister strongly condemned “manhandling and use of abusive language against the peaceful protesting parents of the martyred students of the Army Public School at the hands of Peshawar administration and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa police.” He alleged that on the directives of the K-P chief minister, parents of the martyred students were maltreated and for this Pervaiz Khattak should apologise to them.

The policemen who pushed and abused the parents of the martyred children should be dismissed from service, he added. He said every Pakistani has the right of peaceful protest.
