Hssc Supplementary Exams: Only 33% students manage to pass

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) on Monday announced the result of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) supplementary examinations 2014. According to RBISE Chairman Dr Muhammad Zareef, out of a total of 19,770 registered candidates, 19,219 students appeared and 538 candidates remained absent for the exams. Surprisingly, only 5,415 candidates passed the examination with a pass percentage of 33.42 as 12,489 candidates failed the examinations. The board’s spokesman Arslan Cheema informed that students can check their results on the board’s website as well as by sending SMS at 800296.
