Search Operation: Police pick up 22 ‘suspects’

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police on Monday arrested 22 suspects during a search operation in various areas of the city, informed a police spokesman. Following the IGP’s directions, sub-divisional police officers headed a search operation in the areas of the Secretariat and Banigala police stations. SHOs of the relevant police stations along with a search team raided under-construction buildings as well as plazas in Malpur. They succeeded in nabbing 22 suspects who are being investigated, said the spokesman.
