Sonam on being daddy’s little girl

Actor shares details of both her personal and professional life with Anil Kapoor.

Actor Sonam Kapoor confessed that she shares details of her personal and professional life with her father, actor and filmmaker, Anil Kapoor stated IANS. “I am very close to my dad. He is a good adviser and not strict at all. I share [details] about my work, love life with my father and he doesn’t share these secrets even with my mom,” revealed Sonam.

These days the actor is busy promoting her upcoming film Dolly Ki Doli which will see her play a vibrant character. Speaking about her preparation for the character, she said, “I prepare for each film but for this film, I read a lot of books. Also, I read a lot of books on cons.”

The movie, which has been directed by Abhishek Dogra and produced by Arbaaz Khan, features an ensemble cast, including Pulkit Samrat, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma and is set to release on January 23. Sonam who was last seen opposite Fawad Khan in Khoobsurat will also be seen portraying the character of Neerja Bhannot in the upcoming film Neerja, reported the Hindustan Times.

Bhannot was a young airhostess who was murdered while saving passengers from terrorists on Pan Am Flight 73 which was hijacked on September 5, 1986. Subsequently, she became the youngest recipient of India’s highest civilian award for bravery, the Ashok Chakra.

Principal photography for Neerja is expected to begin within a few months with the movie being directed by Ram Madhvani.
