ISLAMABAD:
As compared to past years, the cooperation between Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Pakistan has been much more extensive with the present government keen on starting work on key development projects, ADB Country Director Werner E Leipach said during a meeting with Finanace Minister Ishaq Dar on Sunday. The year 2014 saw the record disbursement of $900 million by ADB for different development projects, including budgetary support, whereas it used to hover around $300 million in the preceding years.
