Football: KRL move up to sixth in PPFL

They have 2 more matches to play, including last match of the league against the new champions-designate K-Electric

KRL registered their eighth win in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL), defeating KPT 1-0 at the KPT Stadium yesterday as Muhammad Dawood scored the winner in the 24th minute of the match.


Defending champions KRL have found themselves in a fix this season, winning only eight matches out of 20. With the win, they replaced KPT on sixth. They have two more matches to play, including the last match of the league against the new champions-designate K-Electric.


So far, K-Electric lead the league with 47 points, while Army and PAF will be fighting for the second position, whereas PIA and Wapda are on fourth and fifth position respectively.
