HANGU: The Hangu Development Authority project worth Rs1 billion was inaugurated in the district on Friday by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker Haji Khayal Zaman. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Zaman said this was a major scheme which will be spread across 10,000 kanals of land in Kharsha Banda. According to Zaman, land has already been allotted. “Under this new project, houses, schools, parks and hospitals will be constructed,” he said. “Residents will be provided plots on easy installments and special security arrangements will be provided.”  Zaman voiced optimism about the project and insisted the new scheme will bring Hangu at par with other developed districts. “This project will also generate more employment opportunities,” he added.
