LAHORE: City police received more than 3,600 complaints at open courts held in various mosques on Friday.

The police officers issued directions on several petitions and sent several others for investigation. The open courts have been organised on directions of Operations DIG Haider Ashraf. Citizens who feel that they are not entertained properly at police stations can approach police officers at the open courts and hand applications to them.

All police officers handling the courts have to file a comprehensive report on the day’s proceedings to DIG Ashraf. He has directed police officers to be polite in dealing with citizens.
