LAHORE:
A judicial magistrate handed over two men accused of killing a six-year-old child to police on a five-day physical remand on Thursday.
The police produced Qari Saqib and Waqar before Judicial Magistrate Sheikh Muhammad Taqi at the Model Town courts and sought physical remand to investigate them.
The court granted the request for physical remand and directed the police to produce them in court on January 13. The men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Moeen Yasin who was kidnapped near his house in Green Town on Thursday, last week. The child had been strangled to death. His body was recovered from a mosque on January 3.
