PESHAWAR: The provincial government has promoted two Grade-21 bureaucrats to Grade-22. The promotions mean that now four officers are serving on Grade-22 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), said sources in the provincial Establishment and Administration department. An establishment department official requesting anonymity said K-P Additional Chief Secretary Khalid Pervez and Secretary Power and Energy department Sahibzada Saeed Ahmad were promoted to Grade-22. The other two officers serving on the same grade are Chief Secretary Amjad Ali Khan and IGP Nasir Khan Durrani. The official added the newly-promoted bureaucrats may be transferred to the federal government as the province had no vacant posts. He added the provincial government was satisfied with the performance of Durrani and Khan and would oppose their transfer.
