Break-in: 14 tolas of gold jewellery stolen

KABAL: A robber escaped with 14 tolas of gold jewellery from a house in Ningolai, Kabal tehsil of Swat district on Wednesday. According to Ningolai police, an unidentified masked man broke into Zafar Ali’s house and knocked his wife unconscious before decamping with the jewellery. Ali informed the police that the robber broke into the house early morning when his wife was offering her prayers. His wife claimed the robber was holding a pistol and intoxicated her. “I was immediately knocked unconscious,” she informed the police. “When I woke up, the robber had left and the jewellery was missing.” Police have registered a case against the robber and are conducting further investigation into the matter.
