Ambushed: Man shot dead in Taxila

WAH CANTT: A 30-year-old man was shot dead in Ahatta area in the limits of Taxila Police Station on Wednesday. Police said Abid Mehmood was going for work when unidentified assailants hiding on his route opened fire at him. As a result, Mehmood died on the spot. On getting information about the presence of a body, a police party reached the spot and shifted the body to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Taxila for autopsy. A case has registered against unidentified attackers and investigations are under way.
