The city administration will set up four-day free medical camps from January 10 to January 13 in nine union councils for mothers and children.
Over 92,000 children between the ages of four months to five years will be given regular health safety vaccinations in the camps. Doctors will be there to check women for diseases of various kinds.
Commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui announced the establishment of these camps during a review meeting of the anti-polio campaign at his office. He said the campaign will be accompanied by strict security, assured Siddiqui. In case security provisions get delayed, the campaign should be postponed and the control room of the Commissioner Office be immediately informed.
