Road accidents: Two killed, seven injured in Gujar Khan

GUJAR KHAN: Two people were killed and seven others injured in two traffic accidents in Gujar Khan, during the last 24 hours. In the first incident, two persons including a truck driver were killed and one injured in a car crash amid thick fog on Mandra-Chakwal Road on Monday. The deceased, identified as Israr Ahmed and Shaban, hailing from Ratta Amral, died on the spot and Nazir Ahmed, a resident of Kahuta and Shahbad from Rawalpindi were stated to be in critical condition in hospital. Meanwhile, five other persons were injured in another road accident on GT Road. The injured persons, who have yet to be identified, were taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital where their conditions were stated to be stable.
