Addressing issues: President lauds tribal area chamber
The president stated that the government was trying its best to resolve the energy crisis
ISLAMABAD:
President Mamnoon Hussain on Tuesday appreciated the role of the Tribal Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa (TACCIKP) for promotion of trade and economic growth in the tribal areas. Talking to a delegation of TACCIKP at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, the president commended the efforts and contributions of the private sector and business community towards attaining goals of economic prosperity and development of the country. Hussain said the present government was undertaking all possible measures to improve the law and order situation in the country to provide a cohesive atmosphere to domestic and foreign investors. He said the security apparatus and armed forces of the country were valiantly fighting the militants to wipe out terrorist infrastructure. The president stated that the government was trying its best to resolve the energy crisis as it has prioritised the addressing of the power issue and in this regard work on numerous energy projects has already begun.
