Dereliction of duty: Four wardens dismissed in Pindi

RAWALPINDI: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Khurram Shoaib Janbaz on Monday took strict action against traffic wardens for violation of rules and regulations. Four wardens who were absent from duty have been dismissed from service. The wardens were identified as Ali Raza, Mudassar Ijaz, Haroon and Muhammad Yameen. The CTO strictly directed wardens to ensure timely attendance on duties and warned violators of fines and departmental action. He added that strict action will be taken against wardens seen gossiping and attending mobile phones at duty points.
