ISLAMABAD:
Amir Farooq, a Lahore-based lawyer, took oath as additional judge of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) here on Monday. IHC judge Justice Mohammad Anwar Khan Kasi administered the oath to the judge. The ceremony was attended by IHC judges, lawyers as well as judicial officers of lower courts. After Farooq’s induction, the IHC’s strength has now risen to five against seven sanctioned slots.
