Vaccine: Anti-measles drive from 19th
RAWALPINDI:
A week-long measles vaccination drive will be launched in the district from January 19, said EDO Health Dr Khalid Randahwa on Thursday. While presiding over a meeting to review arrangements in this regard, he said children aged six months to 10 years would be vaccinated during the drive. He also directed medical superintendents and government hospital heads to provide lists of vaccinators to the health department. The EDO also directed officials to ensure 100 per cent attendance of vaccinating staff to get the desired results. Focal person for the anti-measles drive, Dr Javaid Iqbal, informed the meeting that almost 175 workers will carry out the drive at the union council level.
