Held for ransom: Third doctor kidnapped from Quetta

Whereabouts of all the three doctors are unknown

QUETTA: Armed men kidnapped a doctor from his clinic in the Satellite Town area of Quetta on Tuesday. The doctor was identified as Mohammed Aslam. It is a third apparent case of kidnapping of doctors for ransom during the last couple of weeks in Quetta. According to police, armed men came in a car and barged into the clinic. They dragged the doctor out of the clinic and drove him away to an undisclosed location. Police have started a search operation in the area after the kidnapping. Earlier, Dr Manoj Kumar and Dr Mohammed Usman were kidnapped from Quetta. The whereabouts of all the three doctors are unknown but security officials say all the cases are kidnappings for ransom.
