Remembering Benazir

Letter December 26, 2014
She was a sincere friend to the poor of Pakistan and always paid attention to the problems of the down-trodden

RAWALPINDI: Today is the seventh death anniversary of the great and bold politician of Pakistan, who struggled very hard under the shadow of the cruel dictatorship of General Ziaul Haq. Benazir Bhutto fought bravely for democracy and never lost hope, and for this, Pakistan will always remain indebted to her.

I would like to pay homage to this great and bold woman leader of Pakistan, who was one of the most well-educated leaders of the country. Not only that, she was also one of the most intelligent, most generous, most polite and kind- hearted person one could come across. She was a sincere friend to the poor of Pakistan and always paid attention to the problems of the down-trodden. May her soul rest in peace.

Raja Ghazanfar Ali Khan Adowaliya
