Judicial commission challenged in SC

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has challenged the establishment of a judicial commission for the appointment of judges in the Supreme Court on Wednesday.

SCBA President Qazi Anwar said that the formation of the committee will disrupt the basic structure of the constitution.

He was speaking outside the apex court in Islamabad.

According to GEO website "Talking to media outside Supreme Court, President SCBA Qazi Anwar said that Hamid Khan, Rashid A Rizvi and he himself will appear before the court. He said the present assembly is not constitutional making body but a legislation making institution." How the parliment approves constitution of 1973 and all previous ones..
