Political suicide?: ‘PML-N has dug its grave by accepting military courts’
“PM Nawaz has reminded the nation of PML-N’s rule in 1999,” says JI provincial chief Professor Muhammad Ibrahim.
HARIPUR:
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has dug its own grave by accepting the establishment of military courts in the country, said Jamaat-e-Islami’s (JI) provincial chief Professor Muhammad Ibrahim.
Questioning the legality of executing those convicted of attempts to kill former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, the JI leader asked how a person could be hanged if their intended target was still alive.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has dug its own grave by accepting the establishment of military courts in the country, said Jamaat-e-Islami’s (JI) provincial chief Professor Muhammad Ibrahim.
Speaking at a condolence reference organised by his party’s Ghazi tehsil chapter on Thursday, the JI leader said he was opposed to the idea of military courts as there was no need for such establishments in a democratic setup.
“Nawaz Sharif has dug the grave of his own party’s rule,” said the professor. “He has reminded the nation of PML-N’s rule in 1999.” Ibrahim said a government that failed to protect children could no longer rule.
