Robbery: Man looted; house burgled

Unidentified thieves have stolen cash, jewellery, two laptop computers, an LCD TV, a 12-bore rifle with 100 bullets

A man was robbed of cash and valuables and a house was burgled in two separate incidents in the Civil Lines area.


Four armed persons snatched cash and valuables from Asad Ali outside his house. The victim was about to enter his house when four armed robbers including a woman intercepted him at the main gate and snatched his bag containing Rs7,000 cash, foreign currency worth Rs300,000, two mobile phones and documents.


Meanwhile, Khurram complained to the same police that unidentified thieves have stolen cash, jewellery, two laptop computers, an LCD TV, a 12-bore rifle with 100 bullets, and other valuables from his house by breaking its locks.
