Women entrepreneurship: Manufacturers encourage participation
APMIA President said that the marble industry is ready to facilitate women entrepreneurs
PESHAWAR:
Pakistan Stone Development Company (PASDEC), under its Creative Entrepreneurship for Women (CREW) project, organised a seminar on women entrepreneurship development. It was attended by All Pakistan Marble Industries Association (APMIA) President Senator Hidayatullah, PASDEC CEO Lutfur Rehman, Tribal Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TACCI) President, Shahidur Rehman and economist Chaudhry Mohammad Shahid. Addressing the participants of the seminar, the speakers said that women have potential to contribute to economic growth. Hidyatullah said that the marble industry is ready to facilitate women entrepreneurs. He asked the concerned players for providing information to marble stakeholders about mosaic training activities in the country so that the industry could be made aware of it.
