Peshawar Massacre: YDA calls off protests

LAHORE: The Young Doctors’ Association (YDA) late on Monday called off a series of protest demonstrations against the non-implementation of an agreed-upon service structure in wake of the Peshawar carnage. The new schedule of the demonstrations will be announced in a meeting on Sunday (December 28). The association had resolved to stage a series of demonstrations against the non-implementation of an agreed upon draft finalised in 2012. The first protest in this regard had been staged at the Jinnah Hospital.
