To Show Sympathy: Avoid New Year celebrations, say police

KARACHI: The Sindh police advised people to refrain from holding any New Year celebrations at a public place as red alert is in effect owing to the Peshawar school attack. A Sindh police spokesperson called upon the people to prove that they sympathise with the affected families of the Peshawar carnage, according to a hand-out issued on Monday. He said that it was a time to show solidarity with the bereft families and unity against the terrorists.
