Bomb defused in Pabbi girls school

Bomb defused after school and nearby buildings were evacuated.

A remote controlled bomb, planted outside a government girls school in Pabbi was defused on Wednesday.

Miscreants had planted a remote controlled bomb of about 16 kilograms outside a government girls school in Pabbi, near Peshawar.

Police and the bomb disposal squad reached the spot immediately after receiving the news.

The bomb was defused after evacuating the school and nearby buildings.

Schools have been a major target for militants in the tribal region with 61 schools having been destroyed in the agency in the last two years.
