Behind bars: Police round up 20 suspects

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi police on Monday arrested 20 suspects in possession of illicit drugs and weapons from different parts of the city. Sadiqabad police held Tasawar in possession of 1.1 kilogramme hashish while a suspected bootlegger Azhar was rounded up on recovery of five litre alcohol. Faisal was sent behind the bars for possessing 10 litre alcohol. City Police booked Shahid and recovered six bottles of liquor from him. Pirwadhai police recovered eight bottles of liquor from a suspect, Shahzad. Banni police netted Riaz Masih for carrying 14 bottles of liquor. Other suspects were arrested for carrying illegal weapons, illicit drugs and liquor.
